"Achieving P.R.I.D.E. through Effective Communication" - MTE&CS trains more CID/CRO detectives

In the last two weeks, we continued our second round of corporate training with detectives of the CID/CRO; the first phase was conducted in July, 2020, in an effort to improve the officers' soft skills.


Entitled "Achieving P.R.I.D.E. through Effective Communication", the training sessions, spearheaded by our Director, covered Business Writing, Oral Speaking and Media Coaching. The corporate event was held in the precincts of the CID/CRO, and participants included acting Inspectors, Sergeants, Corporals and Constables.


Our evaluations, inter alia, found that 88% of the participants strongly agreed that the facilitator was engaging; 72% strongly agreed that the course objectives were met, while 22% agreed it was. Moreover, 72% strongly agreed that the facilitator was well-prepared and able to answer any questions, while 22% agreed in this area.


A few general comments included:

  • "The course can benefit not only the TTPS, but other external organizations".

Commenting on the participants' feedback, our Director said she is very encouraged with the positive assessments of her performance and she looks forward to continued relationships with the organization.
