When decorating an event or a wedding, there is a real possibility that things may not go according to plan. In other words, Murphy’s Law can occur. Therefore, I am giving you some tips to avoid making errors with your decorating. Check them out below! If you follow them, you are likely to avoid these common errors.
Measure the space you have to design - request a blueprint of the venue, know the number of guests and the seating plan.
Table Decor - Centerpieces are very elegant on your table; however, they should be under 14inches and/or above 20 inches for comfort. Your table decor should also have enough space for other items like charger plates, etc.
Focal Point - Have something memorable at your event (backdrop, ceiling, wedding cake, etc.) for guests to remember.
Guest Demographics - Understand the demographics of your guests to ensure they are very comfortable.
Food Service Points - Lay out your food area strategically to avoid unnecessary human traffic.
Set-up Time - Check with the venue to determine how much time you need to set-up your decor.
Poor Lighting/Electrical Needs - It is better to outsource additional lighting and to ensure you have enough power sources to create a better effect.
